As the crisp air of fall settles in and the leaves begin to turn, there’s a sense of new energy and possibility in the air—an ideal time to plan for the year ahead. I’m thrilled to share that our Gathering of Leaders calendar for 2025 is now officially posted! See below for all dates and locations. The coming year is packed with opportunities for leadership development, fellowship, and spiritual renewal, and we invite you to explore our full schedule.
One of the key focuses for 2025 will be our theme of Sabbath in the Missionary Church. In the midst of the often relentless pace of ministry, the concept of Sabbath invites us to pause, reflect, and reconnect with God’s renewing presence. Our Gatherings next year will explore how embracing Sabbath as individuals and communities can strengthen our capacity to be present, compassionate, and effective in our missionary work. Together, we will reflect on how rest is not a withdrawal from the mission, but an essential part of our calling as leaders in Christ’s church.
We’re especially excited to announce a Rural Church Leaders Gathering, thanks to the generous support of the Roanridge Trust grant. This special Gathering will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities facing rural ministries, offering a space to connect and receive tailored resources. It’s an opportunity we are truly grateful for, and we encourage all rural leaders to join us. We will be inviting two leaders from each congregation who attends, and one of those registrations will be paid for by grant funds.
